A comparison that quietly tidies its source is worse than no comparison. The build script finds the conflicts inside the current source file and lists them here. You see them instead of inheriting them. This tool does not merge records. It does not choose between them.

What this dataset was filtered on
Every entry is a business the current Coastal SD Pros local guide publishes. Its record is marked publishable. It is not excluded. It carries no publish block. It holds a San Diego County address record. That is the same filter the directory’s own profile pages are built with. Held and excluded records are not in this dataset. A company missing from the pickers is not being judged. Either it was not captured in the July 25, 2026 source set, or that same filter holds it back.
The published fields
Every cell is sourced twice. The chip in its row names where the field is read from. The chip in its column carries the date the whole dataset was captured. A blank row is a result, not a gap in the page.
How this works
This is a fixed comparison dataset captured July 25, 2026. It is an archived snapshot, not a live feed. It is built from the same source records as the directory’s own profile pages. It is republished only when that source is refreshed. Public listings change. Read every value as “on that date”, never “today”.
Earlier releases of this tool compared an archived June 20, 2026 Oceanside and Vista plumber dataset. It was separate from the current directory. That archive is retired here. The pickers above read the current July 25, 2026 capture. It holds 222 published businesses across plumbing, heating and air, electrical and roofing. The cities are Carlsbad, Encinitas, Escondido, Oceanside, San Marcos and Vista.
Columns run A to Z by trading name. So the order never reads a rating, a review count, advertising, or Roscoe Site Pro client status. The trade and city pickers only narrow which records are offered. A listing seen in more than one trade or city is still one record. Picking it twice is refused, not counted twice. Choosing records hides the other columns. It does not reorder, re-rank, or re-score anything. Every field stays on the same row for every company.
The same 16 fields appear in the same order for every company. 7 of them are published here. The other 9 are not in this dataset at all. They are shown as blanks, with the place to check them.
What it can’t tell you
It does not tell you who is better. It holds almost nothing that decides a hire. This dataset does not hold the current CSLB license, the bond, workers' compensation, or general liability cover. It does not hold the price for your job, or whether anyone can come today. Those show as blanks with the place to check them, not left out. There is no score, no winner, no badge, and no recommendation anywhere in this tool. A public rating is an average of strangers' opinions on one date. It is not an assessment by this directory.
