We review error reports on business records, facts, shortlist proof, and our own rules. Send the exact page, the exact error, and the strongest dated public source you have.
What to include
Make the error easy to check.
A clear source lets us tell a fact fix from a wish or a sales pitch.
- The page URLSend the link to the exact Coastal SD Pros page with the error.
- The exact words or fieldQuote the words, number, label, or detail you think is wrong.
- The fix you wantTell us the right fact in plain words.
- A dated public sourceSend the strongest link that backs the change. An official site, a public record, or the business’s own page all work.
- Who you areTell us if you are the business, a homeowner, someone who speaks for a source, or another reader.
- A reply address, if you want oneYou can skip this. Add it if you want an answer, or if we may need to ask about your source.
Please do not send private identity documents, license images, payment data, or customer records by email. Use a public source when you can. The privacy policy says how we handle what you send.
Human review
Nothing changes on its own.
A person reads your request. They check it against the dated source on the page, the proof you sent, and other solid sources when needed.

Sort the request
First we name the kind of issue. It may be a fact, a proof label, or an ownership label. It may be one of our calls, a business-tie note, a privacy issue, or a plain typo.

Compare the proof
We open your source. We note its date and how strong it is. Then we weigh it against the source behind our line. A business’s own claim may earn “publicly claimed” but not “verified.”

Make the smallest true change
We may fix the fact or clear up the wording. We may update the source date or mark the claim unknown. We may add a limit note. If your source does not hold up, the page stays as it is.

Write down big changes
Some fixes could have changed your choice, or change one of our calls. Those get a new page date. They also get a public note in the log below.
What can happen
The goal is a true page.
You cannot use a fix request to buy, bargain for, or pressure your way to better coverage.
Clarified
The line was not false, but it could mislead. We add context or a limit note to make it clear.
Status changed
A claim moves between verified, publicly claimed, and unknown. It moves because the proof changed or clashed.
No change
Your source does not back the change. Or it is too old. Or it speaks to a different fact.
Removed from scope
Some pages get removed, or pulled from a local shortlist. That covers duplicates, closed shops, national chains, out-of-area records, and pages we cannot back.
Editorial note added
A real dispute, a business tie, or a proof limit stays visible on the page. You get to weigh it yourself.
Editorial independence
Corrections are not a sales channel.
Coastal SD Pros is owned and published by Roscoe Equity LLC. That company also owns Roscoe Site Pro.
- No pay-to-fix. A business never has to advertise, buy an RSP service, or become a client to send a fix.
- No pay-to-remove. Money or a business deal cannot remove a true limit note, a tie note, or a public fact.
- No payback. A complaint or a fix request never lowers how a business stands with us.
- No client preference. RSP client status does not change fix decisions, proof labels, directory order, or who makes a shortlist.
- Sponsored stays sponsored. Fixing a paid spot does not turn it into an unpaid pick.
Editorial decisions are independent of advertising and RSP client status.
Every fix request gets judged against the source and the same published rules.

Sorting rules changed
We used to sort every list by review volume. Now record pages and shortlists follow separate rules. Review count now counts as one signal, and it no longer sets the result. This was a rule change. It was not a fix to any one business record.
No published-error notices yet
When we fix a big published error, this log will name the page. It will say what was wrong, what changed, and the date.
