The rules for using Coastal SD Pros, in plain words.

These terms

These terms cover coastalsdpros.com, run by Roscoe Equity LLC (“we”, “us”). By using the site you accept them. If you don’t, please don’t use it.

What Coastal SD Pros does

We list businesses from public sources (CSLB records, city permits and Google listings) so you can check them before you call. We don’t hire, employ or supervise any listed business, and we don’t guarantee its work, prices, license, insurance or availability. A listing isn’t an endorsement. Labels such as Owner-confirmed and our Distinctions mean only what their published criteria say. Any deal you make is between you and the business.

Before you hire, check the license on the CSLB website, ask for proof of insurance, and get the price and the scope of work in writing.

Information can change

Profiles show where their facts came from and when we read them; How we list has every source and date. Records change after we read them, and sources can be wrong. We work to keep listings accurate, but we can’t promise every detail is current or complete. Request a correction any time.

Reviews and business descriptions

Reviews are quoted from Google with their dates. They’re the opinions of the people who wrote them. Business descriptions are the businesses’ own words from their Google listings. We don’t check either. We show reviewers by first name only. Each current profile links to the business’s listing on Google.

Quote requests and listing claims

You must be 18 or older to send a quote request or claim a listing. When you send one, you let us copy, resize, forward and keep it, with any photos, only to deliver it, act on it as our Privacy Policy describes, and keep a record of it. A quote request goes to the business you picked. You’re responsible for what you send, and for having the right to share the photos you attach. Any price, schedule or contract is between you and the business.

Business owners

If you claim a listing or ask us to change one, you confirm that you’re allowed to act for that business and that what you tell us is true. Confirming a listing is free. Roscoe Site Pro is run by the same company as Coastal SD Pros, and buying from it never changes where a listing appears or which labels it earns.

Fair use of the site

Don’t use the site for anything illegal.
Don’t send spam, false details or someone else’s details through the forms.
Don’t claim to speak for a business you don’t represent.
Don’t copy the directory in bulk, or send automated requests that strain the site.
Don’t try to get around the site’s security.

Changes to the site

We can change, pause or stop any part of the site at any time. We can also refuse or remove any listing, request or other content.

Our content and other people’s

The site’s design, its text and the way the directory is put together belong to Roscoe Equity LLC. Business names and logos belong to their owners. Photos are used under the licenses in their credits. Public records and Google content belong to their sources.

Copyright or trademark complaints

If you think something on the site uses your copyright or trademark without permission, email [email protected] with the page link, the work or mark, and how to reach you. We’ll look into it and take down anything we shouldn’t be showing.

Links to other sites

Profiles link to Google, the CSLB, business websites and other sites. We don’t control them, and their own terms apply.

Text messages

Coastal SD Pros texts only people who agreed to it on one of our forms. If you asked for a quote, texts are about that job. If you claimed a listing, they’re about the listing and services for your business. Agreeing to calls or texts isn’t required to claim a listing or to buy anything. How often depends on your request. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop, or HELP for help; you can also email [email protected]. Carriers aren’t liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your number.

No warranty

The site is free and provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, we make no promises about it beyond what these terms say.

Limits on liability

As far as the law allows, Roscoe Equity LLC isn’t liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses that come from using the site, relying on a listing or dealing with a listed business.

Disputes

California law governs these terms. If something goes wrong, contact us first and we’ll try to sort it out. If we can’t, either side may take the dispute to the state or federal courts in San Diego County, California, or to small-claims court where it qualifies. If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies.

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms, we’ll post the new version on this page with a new effective date. Using the site after that means you accept the change.
