The CSDP Standard
Four commitments an owner makes when they confirm a listing. They cost nothing to make, and anyone can read them.
The four commitments
- 01
Reply to CSDP messages within one business day.
CSDP starts measuring this when its messaging goes live. Until then, the commitment is on record only.
- 02
Keep the license, bond and workers' comp current.
CSDP re-reads the CSLB record on a schedule (last read Oct 14, 2026) and dates every change.
- 03
Honor the estimate fee you list.
If a profile says "free estimate" or names a fee, that is the fee a homeowner pays.
- 04
Answer disputes.
A homeowner who messaged through CSDP can raise a dispute, and the business answers it in the open.
The label comes off. The listing stays.
A business that stops meeting the Standard loses the Owner-confirmed label and moves back into the A–Z group with every other unconfirmed listing. It is never removed, hidden or marked, and it can re-confirm when it meets the Standard again.
Owner-confirmed count today: 0. The Standard applies from the first confirmation.
