I needed to paint my house and make repairs and upgrades to fencing, gates, and doors that dated back to my home’s last remodel in 2004. I had a design concept in mind that I called “Mid-Century Island Fusion.” With an inspiration house I found on Google and some design ideas I developed with ChatGPT, I knew what I wanted—but I didn’t know where to start.
As luck would have it, I met Art and his wife in the sauna at a fitness studio we both attend. I overheard him mention that he was in construction, told him about my project, and he gave me his card. I had a good feeling about him from that very first conversation, and that feeling turned out to be absolutely right.
AE Carlson Design & Build is a family-owned business that has been around for 25 years, with the father, mother, and two sons all involved. From our initial Zoom presentation and estimate through the entire project, what impressed me most was the excellent communication.
As project manager, Art was always available to answer questions, offer suggestions, and listen when something wasn’t turning out quite the way I had envisioned. His motto throughout the project was, “There are only solutions, never problems. We want you to be happy.” He truly meant it.
Art managed the subcontractors, kept everything moving, and made sure the work met my expectations. He genuinely cared about getting things right rather than simply getting them done.
Although there are still a few final pieces to complete, I have been extremely happy with AE Carlson Design & Build and the Espinoza family. They have gone above and beyond and exceeded my expectations.
I highly recommend them. Ten out of ten for sure! ⭐️
