CertaPro Painters of Carlsbad

Certa Pro recently painted the exterior of our building. They did an exceptional job and their employees were a joy to work with. We highly recommend them!

We hired CertaPro of Carlsbad to repaint the full exterior of our Bonita home — front, left, rear, right, and a retaining wall — and the whole experience was the smoothest contractor job we've had.

It started with the contract itself: detailed, itemized by surface and area, and Todd (our sales rep) worked with us to iron out anything unclear before the crew ever showed up. No surprises once work started.

The crew was excellent (shoutout to Fabian and Edgar!) — professional, courteous, and clearly organized under one crew leader who took ownership of the job. They brought their own porta potty for the team rather than relying on us, which we appreciated. Surface prep was careful and thorough (photos attached) — scraping, spot priming, caulking, all done before a drop of paint went on, and not a drop was spilled anywhere on the property.

What really stood out was the communication: from day one they set up a group text with us, the crew, the sales rep, and their operations person. We always knew when the crew arrived, when they left, and how the job was progressing — no guessing, no chasing anyone down.

On the final day, the crew leader walked the entire property with us, surface by surface, to catch anything that needed touching up. The few small items we flagged were fixed on the spot. Payment was simple too — a web link instead of juggling cash or checks. And every single day, they cleaned up completely before leaving.

Would absolutely use CertaPro of Carlsbad again and recommend them without hesitation.

This is the second time I've used CertaPro, this time for a patch and paint job. The first time was in Colorado. This time in California. The staff is accommodating, fast, quality, and priced fairly. Would always recommend CertaPro.

Just had a repipe done and decided to get the whole house repainted. Was able to schedule a consult appointment online which was helpful. Consultation was thorough and they were able to get me an estimate the same day. Painting took 3 days as it was the living room, hallways, ceiling, bathrooms, and kitchen. Prep was done carefully and protected all my furniture and floors. Did an amazing job and would recommend them for any big house painting jobs! This was the second time I have used them. Painters are always professional and cleaned up like nothing happened at all. I was able to keep working at home while all this was going on.

Excellent painting! Professional. Arrived on time and completed on budget.

The CertaPro team did a great job of painting the exterior of our home in Encinitas Ranch. They arrived on time, kept me up to date the progress. Cleaned up and left our property expertly painted. Shoutout to Jose, great job.

JJ and his team were professional and delivered on their proposal beyond what was expected. Courteous and friendly workers. As a church facility, JJ worked within our budget. Great job. We would highly recommend him to everyone.
