The work performed at your home in 2017 was not completed as an official Doctor Piper project. The individual you referenced handled that job independently, collected payment directly, and did not process the project through our company, contract, or accounting system. As such, Doctor Piper was not involved in, paid for, or responsible for that work.
That individual is no longer affiliated with our company, and we ended that relationship due to concerns including unauthorized side jobs and failure to properly support customers after completion.
It is also important to point out that the same individual who originally performed the work—and is being recommended in this review—is the one who returned to address the recent leak and charged separately for that repair. This further confirms that the job and any follow-up service were handled entirely outside of Doctor Piper.
Because we were not contracted and did not receive payment, we are not able to provide warranty coverage, reimbursement, or accept liability for that independent work or any related damages. Responsibility rests with the party who performed the work and was paid directly.
When you contacted us, we still responded promptly and were willing to assist. However, it is important to distinguish between verified Doctor Piper projects and work performed independently using our name without authorization.
Doctor Piper stands fully behind all properly contracted projects, and we take pride in honoring our warranties and delivering consistent, high-quality workmanship.
