Fantastic experience! I've had lots of paint jobs in my many years as a landlord and this was the best ever. Superintendent texted me a couple of days before to introduced himself and confirm the time of arrival, showed up on time ready to work, did EXACTLY what we agreed to, meticulous while working, cleaned up the site, and finished early! Wish I had more jobs to do; I'd hire them again in a heartbeat.

I hired J. Brown Painting to paint my vintage 1937 SFR, detached garage and separate structure. Not a small project requiring an attention to detail, painting expertise and long hours. I interviewed three painting contractors, but after meeting Justin Brown, I knew that he and his team (Lucas and Angel) were up to the challenge. Justin remembered every detail from our upfront conversation and flawlessly communicated the project requirements to his team. Lucas briefed me each morning upon arrival as to what would be accomplished than day. Angel was the silent but equally hard working partner to ensure the team goals were met. Before leaving for the day, Lucas would brief me on what they had accomplished and ask me if I had any questions. No question was to small or inconsequential and always addressed immediately. I had no concerns given this strong communication approach by J. Brown Painting. A supervisor even stopped by one day to ask me how J. Brown Painting was doing. Customer satisfaction was clearly a high priority for J. Brown Painting. The project is now complete and it looks amazing! I would hire J. Brown Painting again in a heartbeat.

We hired J Brown Painting to paint the exterior of our house and repair a wall. Overall we had a very positive experience.

Justin was consistently prompt, professional, and easy to work with. He provided a clear, detailed quote upfront. This made it easy to understand what was included and what we were paying for. He was also flexible when it mattered. Our original plan was to paint the exterior trim white, but my wife later decided she wanted sage green instead. They made the change without any hassle or additional charge. Justin was also willing to work with us on the price when the original quote came in a little above our budget, which we greatly appreciated.

The crew was equally professional. Lucas, the superintendent, and his helper were respectful, communicative, and responsive to our questions throughout the project. We always felt comfortable asking about the work or bringing something up.

There were just two minor communication hiccups. They fully masked the AC unit without mentioning it, so we had to uncover it ourselves once the house got unbearably hot. (perhaps great for hot yoga!) Also, the crew didn’t show up one day, although they still finished everything on schedule.

Overall, if you want a great-looking exterior, professional service, good communication, and a reasonable price, I’d happily recommend J Brown Painting.
