We have used Burtech for multiple properties and have always had a great experience. Recently, Kyle arrived on time, clearly explained his assessment of the issue, recommended a way to fix the problem that was cheaper & cleaner than what another plumber suggested. He cleared the kitchen drain, cleaned up, great communication with myself and tenants at the property. 100% will continue using them for any plumbing issues.

Warning- Expect a HUGE bill even for a simple job. The plumber did a 20 second fix on a 1/4in plastic fridge water line by literally cutting it with scissors and pushing the ends into a $5 coupler from home depot (something I could've easily done). In total, he stayed 15 minutes, and yet I was charged $452, and that was AFTER I got a $75 July discount and the $88 service charge waived. So apparently their rate is $2000/hour?!! Nothing against the plumber, he was a nice guy, but I wish I was told how much they charge since I would've had him leave and figure it out myself.
EDIT: the owner's reply wants me to say that I was not the one who contacted the plumbing business, as if that somehow is the reason for their extremely high pricing. So yeah, my neighbors were the ones who called, but I paid since it was my pipe (we have a shared wall). Total non sequitur but there ya go
Ty, there are several important details missing from this review.
You did not originally contact Burtech Plumbing for service. Your neighbor called us to investigate a leak, and our technician spent time on site diagnosing the issue and determining that the source of the leak was actually coming from your unit. Once identified, you authorized and paid for the repair.
Describing the service as a “20-second fix” is misleading. Our technician did not simply arrive, cut a piece of tubing, install a fitting, and leave. He responded to a leak call, investigated the source, diagnosed the problem, and completed the necessary repair.
Burtech Plumbing also does not charge by the hour, so suggesting our rate is “$2,000/hour” is simply not accurate. We use flat-rate pricing based on the service being performed—not a stopwatch or the retail price of one fitting. Professional plumbing pricing includes the technician’s experience, diagnosis, travel, stocked service vehicle, licensing, insurance, tools, overhead, and responsibility for the completed work.
You also received a $75 discount, and the $88 diagnostic fee was waived.
We understand that after watching a trained professional identify and repair the problem, a repair can sometimes appear simple. However, knowing what to repair, confirming the source of the leak, and completing the repair correctly is part of the service you paid for.
We understand you feel the price was too high, but the work and price were presented for your approval before the repair was made.
