I would like to say that the Stiltz Lift has been the best thing I have bought for my new home. Originally we were going to add a "dumbwaiter" for groceries from our garage to our kitchen. Now we are constantly using it just to leave the house. My husband has bad knees and use to complain about all the things he had to bring upstairs. This was an ongoing subject and quite irritating. He was the one who saw the Stiltz ad and suggested we make the change. We are the only one of our friends and family that have one. We are having an open house party soon and I'm sure this will be the talk of the party. We love how easy, quiet and good looking it operates. Stiltz did a great job in installing and adding some carpet we requested, too.

We recently had a Stiltz elevator installed by Aging in Place, and the experience was fantastic. The team was professional, courteous, and really attentive to our needs. They made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend their services!

We had very good experience using Aging in Place for installing Stiltz elevator. They have highly professional teams. They arrived on time and did clean and prompt work. Great customer services. We would highly recommend them if you are looking for installing a lift.

Do NOT use this company! They installed our stiltz lift, and via our warranty I made an appt for them to come out and repair it! I waited around all morning and they were a no show! We are an older couple with a lot of stairs and this stiltz lift is a crucial part of our aging in place plan! They do not honor their work and will not be there for you!
As an update, We were finally able to get them out today to repair the stiltz lift. The repair tech was very knowledgeable but the amt of concentrated effort it took to get him out to our home is not good customer service!

Just wanted to give a quick shout out to Aging In Place and their installation of our Stiltz elevator! Very professional, clean & prompt! They did an awesome job in every aspect! Thank you!

Wendy5/5

What a great experience with this company! Completed in 2 days. All of the work crew were very professional and friendly. They kept the work area clean and tidy. Gave us operating instructions and safety instructions at the end of the installation. I would recommend them 100%. A wonderful addition to our home.

Thank you Wendy. We always love to hear that our crew is taking good care of our customers.

Carol5/5

We were so impressed with the incredible organization and efficiency the Aging-in-Place team did installing the elevator. They were amazing and it spoke highly of the professional company Aging -in-Place is. We cannot thank them enough for their outstanding work. It was an example of a unique and quality installation by AIP as well as the performance of the Stiltz unit and it’s amazingly simple operation. I would highly recommend them if you are looking to upgrade your home for whatever reason with a Stiltz elevator or a quality home addition or remodel. They arrived in a spotless clean truck with all their tools and in two days we had an elevator in place. They certainly knew their engineering skills to complete the job.

It was a pleasure to work with both of you.

I had to hire another contractor from Murrieta ( owners name is Nick) to do soo many repairs at our home…
We didn’t have the kind of remodelling that you do when getting age prevents you of going around the house, or taking a shower…

We spend 250,000 ( because my husband said “ yes” to everything Tyler ( the owner) offer to do to the house…
He even told my husband that he preferred not to have me around when workers were here…..
We did not get

A ramp for wheelchair

A different bathroom for easier access to shower

We did change anything in the master bathroom

Tyler manipulated my husband when I wasn’t home.

My beautiful spa area ( had 3 steps and a rail) to go up,and I was planning to put soil and grow vegetables and plants there, when I returned home from a trip it was all destroyed to the ground and Tyler with out even talking it over with me ( wife) did it so he can make more money…

My master bedroom upstairs had the opposite make over…..
He raised the floor and my husband who is 75 has to go down two steps from the bed to the bathroom….

He really withdrew lots.. lots…… of money from my husband….

I have battery operated candles, two in each step so my husband doesn’t fall…..

Sad for Tyler to take advantage of people with old age memory…
Paint is peeling- rust came up the surface- my husband paid for electric shades that we never got….

Tyler ignored my calls for refund…

Our house has tall ceilings and I have to climb the super high ladder that is two pieces to try to reach high up the plug to charge it…

My husband didn’t want to sue him because we like traveling to Europe and he didn’t want to deal with it…

Also when he did some remodelling years ago Tyler was on site checking everything and the job was perfect….

Now he has guys doing his jobs.
His name is on the paperwork but not HIM….

One of his workers told me that he takes so many jobs and he has a couple managers to go around and this way he can do a lot of traveling…
Also he employs Illegals and pays them less than minimum wage….

Also Tyler told him and another guy that if I talk to them to leave…..my house…He also told my husband that if he needs the guy to finish

“ TO MAKE SURE “ Faye ( ME)
“ SHE IS NOT THERE “

As the Owner I feel compelled to respond to your review. It is a bit tricky to respond to a review that was written by someone who was not our client. Our Client commissioned us to perform the work, signed the Contract, did the decision-making, and made the payments. At that time, you were his new girlfriend that had just moved in. That would have been fine except you and our Client did not agree on much and often provided two different directives. When it came time to execute the work, we had a contractual obligation to listen to our Client, not you. We had many design and execution meetings with our Client that you were not part of. We spoke to our client on multiple occasions about this incongruent dynamic and we were told in no uncertain terms to, “not worry about it, that is the way she is, continue doing what we are doing”. All our employees could hear you arguing with our client and getting upset that the work was not being done “your way”. The environment you created on the jobsite made our employees uncomfortable.
Below are some of the documented and provable lies contained in your review.
Lie #1: suggesting I was not present during the remodel
What you are not aware of is that we use tracking software for all members of our company. This software provide a geo-location history going back 7 years. Upon reviewing this project we see that I visited the project 34 times over the 3 month period of the project. That’s almost 3 times a week. Again, you were not my Client. I did not seek you out when I came to our Client’s home.
Lie #2: that we employee illegals and pay poorly
This is so easily proven to be a lie and is also incredibly out of touch with the world today. Every employee we have is documented, on payroll, and receives a W-2. This means they have been vetted by the Federal government and approved to work in the U.S.
Also, as you seem unaware of the current shortage of tradesperson, no one in the trades makes minimum wage anymore. We are all fighting for employees, so we have to pay all our staff top dollars to retain their services. It would be laughable to pay any trade employee minimum wage in California. This lie is so blatant that it opens up the question about how you viewed our employees and possible biases you had against them. Why would you think they are illegal…because they are Hispanic?

Lie #3: insinuating that our Client was not mentally competent enough to make decisions
Have you shown this review to your now husband, our Client? Our Client was very lucid during all our interactions, and it is surprising to have you write this in a public forum. It sounds like you are saying that he was not mentally competent enough to deal with the remodel he requested we perform. If that’s the case and you were so concerned about it, why would allow him to continue with the project, add more items during the project, and why would you go on a vacation mid-project and leave him behind?
Lie #4: that we installed steps in the Master Bedroom
Can you show me the before and after pictures? Because we have them, and they clearly show this to be a lie. The home was built with two steps and there was nothing we were going to do to get rid of them (short of ripping down that wing of the home). Such an odd item to lie about and so easily refutable.
Lie #5: that we did not provide the appropriate quantity of automated shades
Upon reviewing the Contract in which we specify all items provided for the project it is clearly listed which windows will receive shades. All shades were delivered and installed. Again, we have before and after images supporting this fact.
I could continue but much of the rest of your review is unintelligible and/or not factual. Our Company stands by our work, our clients, and the manner in which this project was handled. I know our Client has our email, phone number, and even my personal cell number. If he wants to reach out to discuss anything we/I will be glad to speak with him.

Great customer service, a super work crew and delivered as promised. We had a Stiltz elevator installed and the work was excellent and very professional. I'd be happy to have my friends and neighbors see what they built.
