American Built Tiny Homes

They built amazing tiny homes. They make them in house. So you can see the process from start to finish

I started researching tiny homes about a year ago. I visited several local builders and finally ended up at American Built Tiny Homes in 2023. I had specific limits to the size I needed so I started working with the owner Joe and designer Dee. I created a few drawings for what I was looking for. Joe and Dee worked with me on layout and design ideas. I decided on a 8’x 35’ single story home. I asked for a deck over trailer so I could get a full width of 8 feet. Some of my ideas didn’t quite workout, so Joe and Dee helped me navigate a few changes to my design so that the functionality was there. It turned out better than expected! I’m so proud of my tiny home and so happy. I feel like it’s the best thing for me that I could have done. I’m retired and I like to travel so buying this home has made my dreams come true. I am very grateful that I was able to customize the floor plan to what worked for me. Joe has a great team that I got to know. I live in Escondido so I could stop by any time and watch the process. I am grateful and a very happy customer.

Great custom homes. They create tiny homes for anyone looking to save on rent in the long run or just a nice spear home to have.

A.B.T.- welcomed my team, and I, special thanks to Joe & -D- For showing us, two of their "EXTREMELY" well built 30&35 foot homes for sale. With numerous men inside the structure, there was plenty of room. And the quality of work was evident to all of us.
From the floor, to the ceilings! I can see why American Built Tiny Homes is becoming the "go too" place for smaller builds. We are definitely returning with a plan to get some work started!!
Thank you,
again

Joe & TEAM

I began my journey with American Built Tiny Homes in January of 2023. As a single mom living in San Diego County, I needed an affordable housing option and was very interested in tiny homes. After several months of research I decided to choose American Built Tiny Homes as my builder. Joe, Dee, and the rest of the team were always so welcoming and attentive throughout the entire process of my build. They made my dream home come to life for me and my children. They were able to customize the floor plan to what worked for us, maximizing our space and privacy. My favorite part was being included in the entire design.

I am especially grateful for how tirelessly the entire team worked together to get my home completed, as they knew I only had a short amount of time before I had to move from the place I had been living.

American Built Tiny Homes continues to offer me support with any questions or concerns I have about my home. They have also made trips to my home to help resolve any issues, which haven’t been many.

For anyone reading this that is struggling with the rising cost of housing, make the move and contact American Built Tiny Homes, you will not regret it. If you are worried about where to park it, don’t. There are several RV resorts that allow tiny homes and a lot of homeowners rent space on their property as well.
