Bothof Brothers Construction Inc.

One of their drivers in a company vehicle ran a red light and aggressively honked. Feels inappropriate and worth mentioning

Beware of this company. They are also associated with Dalrada Home Solar sales. I signed up for Solar installation September 2024. Took them over a year to install with many mistakes along the way. The finance company they set me up with cancelled the contract after a year without installation. I found out 3 days after installation that I no longer had any financing via text message from Bothof Brothers employee. I no longer had 2.9 percent financing and couldn’t find anyone less than 7 percent. My bill for Edison would be lower than my solar payment. Dalrada/Bothof refused to honor the only contract signed and pretty much said you figure it out. They know I got screwed over due their lack of urgency in completing the job but just walked away. They have recently eliminated the employees that were working on my project. Super sus company. It’s been two weeks and I have had zero contact from them to try and work out a fair resolution.

Wow, I met Henk Bothof back in 1998 when he was starting and he redid our house. It started it all, to where he is now with high remodels. He added a second story to my house and rearranged our living room to change the position of the front door. It looks seamless. People were stunned when our house was exposed and the crew worked on our house for 9 months to create a new home. It was worth it and we are very comfortable in our home. Additionally he had a long warranty on his work. He kept his word. In the past, my mom had been swindled and lied to by contractors so this was a 180 degree difference and welcome change in our experience with construction crews. They cleaned up after themselves and were polite. Thank you Bothof Brothers construction. I still consult with Henk 25 years later on any home renovation concept b/c I trust his opinion.
