We recently used D'Amato Construction to paint the outside of our house and we're very pleased with the results.
We initially thought of using another painter, but when we considered the height of our house and the various angles we realized we would be better off with a professional who was licensed and insured. Frankie was very prompt in providing us with quote - which was only slightly higher than the uninsured alternative.
Frankie and his team were easy to deal with, listened to our concerns, used high quality paint and did an excellent job. I would hire them again!

Frankie D’Amato and his Painting and Construction Team (D’Amato Construction Company) have my Strongest Recommendation if you need any exterior or interior house painting, flooring installation, or have any general woodworking and renovation construction projects. After meeting with and receiving quotes from several other firms and contractors, we chose Frankie based on his detailed task breakdown and quote buildup, design suggestions, the explanations for all the work he would do, the estimated schedule (which he stuck to), and a fair quote that fell right in the middle of all received and online quotes, which did not include all of the extras Frankie provided. The painting and renovation project included the following: Exterior house painting (including trim/fascia, garage door, front door in/out w/ hardware, detached BBQ Island, and front yard entry walls); Repaired and replaced failed/rotten balcony fascia and railing boards; Renovated guest bedroom (removed carpet, installed hardwood flooring and new baseboards, and painted walls/ceiling); Removed, cleaned, re-painted, and re-installed all exterior house lighting fixtures (which caused neighbors to ask if we had all new fixtures); and Re-painted all yard architecture lighting and BBQ lamp. Prior to starting the painting job, the crew power-washed the whole house and roof tiles, and did the backyard patio pavers/cement and stone retaining walls while at it. After the job clean-up was completed, they again power-washed the driveway and all yard cement and pavers. Frankie and his crew were very meticulous and professional at all times, arrived on time each day, and did a complete clean-up at the end of each day – and Frankie conducted a walk-around wrap-up discussion daily to explain what was completed, and the plan for the following days. We are extremely happy with the job Frankie and his team accomplished, and we have received numerous compliments on the new look. It was also great to see that Frankie has veterans on his team, including a recently retired USMC Sergeant Major who drove up every day to La Costa Valley by 7:00 AM from the South Bay area. Our House Looks Awesome, and D’Amato Construction Definitely Warrants our Full Endorsement and Gets 5 STARS Across the Board!!

Absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish! I hired Frankie and his crew to paint the exterior of my house after observing them paint a neighbor’s house. Theirs turned out beautiful and so did mine. Frankie impressed me with his responsiveness, continual communication, respectfulness, attention to detail, and the pride he takes in his work. I will use D’Amato Construction Company again in a heartbeat and have already recommended him to others.

Frankie and crew did a GREAT job. My place looks so fresh and new and I get lots of compliments, not just on the color I choose, but on the quality of the job he did. I got several bids before starting, Frankie's quote was reasonable, competitive, and most importantly, he took the time to work with me to address questions and needs I had - he was much more communicative and responsive than the other contractors. During the work he showed up when he said he would, cleaned up at the end of every day, and offered a solution to a non-paint job I had that works and looks great as well. I would use Frankie again and absolutely recommend him to others.

Hired these guys to do a garage refresh including polyaspartic floors, and the guys did a great job. Overall experience was very professional - good communication and prompt work every day.
