I was very happy with Gael and Cesar’s job. They did a very good job of doing our walk in shower. I commend them for their very job well done. They were courteous and friendly. They left it clean also.

We just had our bathroom remodeled and it looks amazing! Gael was awesome and super friendly with our pets. Thank you, Nulux!
Everyone on this team was friendly and professional. Jesse handled the planning and contract, Jim the cabinet, Kara the check-ins, while Gael ran the entire remodel from demo to completion. Gael was a great communicator, an expert craftsman, and super detail-oriented — he even made the work area spotless after every day's work. Couldn't be happier with my beautiful new bathroom!
I recently had my tub/shower remodeled in master bathroom to a walk in shower. I couldn’t be happier with the results! The workmanship is outstanding, and attention to detail amazing. The crew was professional, courteous, and everything kept clean through the project. I now have a modern shower that is beautiful and easy to take care of. I highly recommend Nulux to anyone looking for a reliable company that takes pride in their work. From meeting the Design Consultant Mike, and Jim the Project Manager and the team that did the remodel you will be so very happy.
We needed to have our upstairs shower updated because of a small leak. Nulux was fantastic, start to finish. We really liked Jesse and the team, and Gael the installer was so conscientious and kind - he cared about our kids and our cat and how the work was impacting them. High quality work!
We recently completed a full bathroom remodel with Nulux. The process was seamless from the design, demo and installation. Everything was communicated properly and out bathroom looks 100X better :)
Our search for a company to do our bathroom remodeling project started at the Spring Home & Garden Show in Del Mar. There were probably 10-15 different companies there that looked capable of doing the job.
We spent quite a bit of time talking to most of them about what we wanted, but Nulux quickly rose to one of the top contenders. They didn’t have the biggest or the flashiest booth at the show, but Mike really seemed to understand what we wanted to accomplish and went into a lot of detail about what differentiates Nulux. The fact that they only do bathrooms was also something we found very appealing.
We spent time talking to a few of the bigger “known” names, but we kept getting the impression that our project just wasn’t big enough for them, even though they never came right out and said that.
After the show, we selected three companies to come out to our house to look at the project space and give us bids, including Nulux. Almost immediately, the differences in how each of them talked about the project became very apparent. Nulux went into a lot of details that the other two didn’t, including what they would do if they found any water damage behind the drywall. There were also significant differences in the higher-end materials they used, the prep work they do, and who is actually doing the work. And finally, numerous reviews from their prior customers were all excellent.
After we looked at the three bids and considered all the other factors, we decided to go with Nulux.
From day one, we felt like we had made the right decision. It started with the detailed onsite project review with Jim, who is just an awesome guy to work with. He listened carefully to what we wanted and was extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the work to be done.
From there, we really appreciated the proactive project updates and responsiveness to our emails from Kara. We were never left wondering what was going on or when work would start.
Then, when the work actually did start with the demolition, we met Israel. He got to work immediately, and it was amazing how fast the tub and shower were out, the walls were stripped down to the studs, and all the flooring was removed, all with minimal mess to the rest of the house.
When the actual construction phase started, Israel would check in with us on a regular basis to make sure things were being done the way we wanted, instead of just making assumptions. Of course, we made a few deviations from the original plan (our doing, not theirs), some of which required a little rework, but Israel never complained or acted frustrated and just wanted to make sure we were completely satisfied with the outcome.
As the project started coming together, we were impressed by the attention to detail and the care that was taken not to damage parts of the room that weren’t being changed.
Once it was all said and done, it was everything we wanted and exactly how we envisioned it. The quartz is beautiful (we’re ecstatic that there is no more grout to deal with). The fixtures are very stylish. The flooring complements everything perfectly. The new cabinet wood grain, style, molding, and color were a perfect match with the existing cabinetry. Even though they were literally 20 years older, you would never know that it wasn’t all done at the same time. The overall quality of workmanship was simply outstanding. There were absolutely no surprises; the price we were quoted is exactly what we paid, and they offer a lifetime warranty that shows they really stand behind their work.
By now, it should come as no surprise that we highly recommend Nulux for a bath remodel project. I honestly don’t think there is anything they couldn’t handle. You often hear about remodeling horror stories, but this whole project really couldn’t have gone any smoother. Thank you, Nulux, for doing a high-quality job, on time, and on budget!
