Palomar Solar and Roofing

I just want to follow up on a review regarding Palomar solar and roofing. This company has been very proactive in monitoring the solar panel system that they installed just about 10 years ago. I know most people are skeptical about whether or not it will be covered years into the contract or payments. Will they honor their word when it comes time to do a repair and in a timely manner? I will have to say yes. 100% satisfied with Palomar solar. I don't think that you can go wrong with this company. Even if you have a few hiccups along the way during the install or something like that, they will make it right. So I don't usually do reviews to promote people. But like I said, 10 years later my solar panel systems still in service and they've come out to my place at least three times to replace a module gateway. And just recently I had a micro inverter fail and they are going to be replacing that micro inverter and also they do provide tech support for gateway communications when they fail. So I know when we all start off with solar panels we're very much into it and we watched the production and how much we're trying to save and then sooner or later we stopped looking but Palomar solar has not stopped looking. They notified me back in April 1st that I had non-communications and just yesterday they reported that I have a inverter, a micro inverter that was not working properly and will be sending a check out to replace it. So thumbs up. I recommend anybody choose this company to do business with

I cannot be happier with my experience with Palomar Solar and Roofing. We interviewed different companies. Although Palomar wasn't the cheapest, Bryce was outstanding to work with and was with us every step of the process. They didn't try to talk me into something extra that I didn't need and easy to get in contact with if we had questions.

Palomar installed a new roof (which looks amazing) and solar panels. The solar install was very professional. They even painted all the tracks to blend in with my roof. My panels look like they are literally floating on my roof. I've had my system running for over a week and I couldn't be happier.

If you are looking to do the same, please don't hesitate to contact them! They are highly recommended!

Palomar Solar and Roofing was excellent. I had checked with other Solar companies and never followed through with them. Bryce was very knowledgeable and I signed up. Everyone at Palomar Solar and Roofing was very helpful and always on time. They let me know what was going to be done on the days they were here working. I would recommend them to everyone.

I made sure to shop around and do my homework. I wanted the roof done on the original house not the 10yr addition, but solars on both sides. They definitely gave us the best price. Be careful because there are some companies that extremely overcharge.

As soon as we finalized the paperwork they began working, but one day we got home to see they removed the roof on a section of the addition. We were so scared they were going to up the price or scam us somehow. They actually apologized and said they would be replacing the roof on all the house at no extra charge. We were in shock, no renegotiating no nothing, we couldn’t believe it.

The next thing that happened was that while they were working on the solar, the city inspectors came and realized the roof was also replaced and not inspected and the plywood used was not up to code. I thought oh no here it comes we are going to get a huge bill or they are going to leave our roof half way done and tell us a story that it is not worth it to them.

To our surprise, they said they thought we were under the umbrella of the neighboring city since we were at the border of both, so they were going by those guidelines. They said they would take the hit as a learning experience and moved forward. WHAT?? I was in SHOCK
NOBODY DOES HONEST BUSINESS LIKE THIS, but PALOMAR does.

Any solar or roofing Palomar is definitely the place to go. Very professional, courteous. Highly recommend them

I needed a new roof on my 1955 Orange County home and was thinking about solar. A friend recommended calling Palomar after I had a quote from another company. They not only gave me a better price they could do my roof and solar at the same time. Every part of the process was easy from the friendly sales reps to the guys that performed the work. First class all the way around...highly recommended!

I live in the Escondido area and have been deciding on whether I should invest in Solar, so I have been going to different companies to understand more in person because over the phone doesn’t help me. I was astonished walking into the business establishment from the get-go. I could hear what I assume is a woman in a high position repeatedly shushing and angrily chastising the receptionist. How awful! I debated leaving this review, but this incident definitely stopped me from supporting this business! She needs to at least be reprimanded! That is no way to talk to your workers (or people for that matter). Absolutely disgusting and she should be ashamed.
