Technician came out to diagnose a pool heater failure and left the pool in service mode, meaning the system was not returned to normal operation after the visit. That alone is a basic professionalism failure.
Worse, the diagnosis itself was wrong. Rather than identifying the actual failed component, the technician attributed the problem to rodent contamination and submitted that finding to my home warranty company as the cause of failure. To make matters worse, the report was not submitted on time, further delaying the claims process. The warranty claim was denied on that basis. I am now disputing the denial because the diagnosis does not hold up. The presence of rodents near equipment does not establish that rodents caused a mechanical breakdown, and a competent technician should know the difference.
I would not use this company again and would not recommend them to anyone relying on their report for a warranty or insurance claim.
