My wife and I just closed escrow on a new home in Carlsbad and wanted remodel the kitchen, master bath, 1/2 bath along with other modifications in the home. After meeting a few general contractors, I had the pleasure of working with Tom with Appleton Design & Construction. Tom and his team were professional, clean, on-time, knowledgeable and easy to work with. Each team member specialized in a different craft, whether it be demo, plumbing, framing, etc. ADC also has relationships with other tradesmen, such as electricians, stone fabricators, tile, etc.
Once we scoped out the project, Tom provided a very detailed quote and we started remodel shortly after. Even though work was performed over the holidays, tasks were completed on-time and within budget. I felt well informed throughout the entire project and never questioned their abilities. I’m a perfectionist and sometimes a bit over critical, so this is a huge compliment to ADC. We are extremely happy with the finished product and it looks exactly the way we imagined it would.

Tom Appleton, owner of Appleton Design & Construction just completed a 9 month total beach bungalow renovation for our family in North County San Diego. I bought a home some time ago, it was a complete wreck. I've been re-doing it over the past 18 months and I've worked with literally over a dozen contractors. With ONE exception, every single one had at least one major issue (and sometimes more) - incompetent workers, work not to code, rude workers, work needing to be re-done, price surprises, etc.

We hired ADC Inc for a complete remodel/rebuild of our 1950’s home. The project involved taking our home down to the framing, adding additional square footage and new everything! It was a huge project and one we started right before COVID. Tom and his team did an amazing job! We had to pull permits as well as meeting with the city and SDG&E. Tom helped us every step of the way. The crew was on time every day, organized, clean, thorough, and detail oriented. They were attentive to our ideas, and offered their own ideas which we found very helpful. We never got the feeling that our job was too small or not worth their time. Our satisfaction with the work was their number one priority. Our home turned out amazing. I would highly recommend ADC Inc!
