Their homes models are amazing but there are small issues.
Cons:
1. Schools are like 15-20 mins ride every day which is a big NO for me.
2. Most of the upcoming homes have a backyard facing a mountain. Which is a big NO for me. Fire hazard and what not insurance to be high and all.
Pros:
1. Near to freeway without freeway noise
2. Great views because of top mountain.
The salespeople were friendly and all very nice to us. They eagerly answered all of our questions.
Floorplans were above average, I particularly liked the 2 story floor plans better than the one story floorplan. I particularly liked the beautiful large islands in the kitchens.
Lot sizes were more than adequate for backyard entertainment or privacy, especially with their very nice pvc fencing.
The setting is great with hills and mountain views all around. The development is laid out nicely so that it seems almost a majority of backyards back up to green spaces.
Prices per square foot are excellent!
However, I really dislike the facades of the majority of homes there. I wouldn't buy there as I wouldn't be happy driving through the neighborhood to get to my home.
Another turn-off was having to use an app to get into the model homes which did NOT readily work and required our personal info. Not great! We were with 3 separate parties trying to get into one model and none of us could get in until a 4th person tried. They should just have a code they hand out at the office on a daily basis, because this app method counteracts all their marketing efforts as real turn off!
Still there were so many nice things that I really do like.
And, I believe that Citro is a truly great value in a very drivable distance to important places all over in San Diego County.

My wife and I are currently on the list to buy a home as they come available, and from start to where we are now in the process has been incredibly easy. Everything has been clearly laid out in the documents sent to us and the team has been responsive. So far we really appreciate everything that has been done for us here. We look forward to our eventual purchase :)

Attempted to view homes here. Made an appointment and got several follow up emails from the company. When I arrived with my family to view the homes we went to the office. There a sales rep explained the properties to us. Then told us we needed to drive around to certain homes to view the houses and to just use the app on the show house doors to enter. No one accompanied us further. When we got to the show house I scanned the app which prompted a download, that's fine. Then the app request a bunch of personal information from me which I wasn't comfortable with. This is the worst way to show houses. Why did we even make an appointment if no one intended to go with us. If it's all on an app what was the point of a sales rep. The community it awful, looks like a utopian horror film neighborhood. We left without viewing a single home.

The sales people here are not friendly unless you are buying something. They need to work on customer service.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS BUILDER. All homes are rushed and cheaply made. Multiple things falling apart within the first year of living here.
