He arrived earlier in the day than forecast - excellent. He got the air conditioner restarted using an AC hard start kit. While he might have simply charged for the kit and left (an OK, not a great solution), he tested the capacitor and found it was doing nothing. He replaced it with a new one from his truck and charged me less (taking the hard start kit with him). The whole visit cost on $250 - a great deal, especially on a Sunday.

We asked for a fairly unusual type of HVAC setup a ducted mini split, which is virtually invisible on the inside, except for the vent covers. They did an awesome job of finding a great place for the condenser to working with our space in the attic to deliver a nice set up for our bedroom. Very professional and easy to deal with. I highly recommend them for any of your HVAC needs.

Kevin did what a larger company quoted for less money and a quicker turnaround. When our upstairs blower fan stopped blowing (right before a record breaking San Diego heat wave), I had the large company (with whom we had a membership) come out and take a look. It took them over a week to get to me (while it was 90°F in our bedroom). Initial diagnosis: failed run capacitor. Great! Let’s replace it! That wasn’t it. It was the motor itself that had finally given up (after 34 years of service!). The quote they gave me was north of $2200 to do the work and they weren’t going to be able to get the parts for several days. On a whim I searched for a local contractor who might be able to get this done sooner. That’s when I found Kevin and Morrison. Over the phone I told Kevin what was going on and his quote was roughly a third of the other guy’s and his timeline was tighter. Kevin showed up as promised, immediately figured out what he needed, drove to get the parts, and came back to finish the work all in the same day. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and fast and now it is no longer 90°F in our bedroom! I will absolutely call Kevin again for future service calls.

Kevin is great. I had the ac installed by him last year. There is a small issue w the ac ,he came the next day & got it taken care of. He is very responsive, straightforward, reasonable & reliable. I would recommend his service to anyone seeking ac replacement or ac repair.
