I recently hired Manny and his team at Hidden City Roofing for a tile lift and relay. The roof had been redone relatively recently by the prior owners, but unfortunately the quality of the work was poor and there was already water damage that needed to be addressed.

From the start, Manny was extremely communicative, patient with all of my questions, and easy to work with. His quote was also very competitive.

Once the project got underway, the crew was professional, organized, and kept the job site very clean. They worked well together, and even our neighbors commented on how professional they were. I also had a cosmetic concern partway through about where some newer replacement tiles were being used on a section of the roof visible from the street, and they were very accommodating about rearranging them to improve the finished look.

Manny also handled the permitting and inspection process seamlessly and made sure everything was completed on time. He was equally responsive about providing receipts and documentation whenever I needed them.

The end result was a huge improvement over what was there before, both functionally and cosmetically. We had a great experience with Hidden City Roofing and would absolutely recommend Manny and his team!

From our first contact till our last, the communication was outstanding. Manny's quote was very competitive, and he followed through on everything he promised. His crew was amazing, showed up on time, cleaned up every day, and finished on time. Photographs were taken throughout the process and a final set was sent to us at the end of the roofing project. Once the roof was done, we went back up to clean our gutters only to find out they were shining! His crew cleaned them all out...so unexpected, but a great final touch. He provided his documents immediately upon request to confirm active insurance, as well. I can't say enough about the professionalism shown.

We had a few leaks in our roof following some major rain. Manny quickly found the cause of the leaks and repaired then completely with no further problems at a very reasonable cost. Looking forward to getting large sections of our old roof replaced for more peace of mind for the next huge downpour. I highly recommend Manny and his team.

Manuel and his team were great to work with during our roof replacement. From our initial inspection to completion of the project, Manuel was on time and exceptionally communicative. Our roof was complicated with flat and pitched portions and Manny came daily to check in on the progress and inspect the work. I just had my roof installed & had the pleasure of working with Manny & his crew. I cannot speak highly enough about Hidden City Roofing. From the very start to the final inspection Manny has been extremely responsive to any & all questions as well as keeping me informed with photos & timeline. The crew was also extremely responsive, friendly & respectful.
They cleaned up at the end of each day as well as when job was completed. They swept all debris & then used a power blower to make sure there were no nails, etc…

I screened well over 20 different contractors, both big and small roofing company. Manny and his team stands out. They are responsive, professional, and efficient. My husband and I could not be happier with our experience with Hidden City Roofing and Manuel. From our very first meeting, Manuel was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and personable. He provided a detailed estimate along with photos and videos of our roof, taking the time to explain everything in simple terms that we could easily understand. He presented several options and patiently walked us through the pros and cons of each, allowing us to choose the solution that best fit our home’s needs and our budget.

What impressed us most was how attentive Manuel was throughout the entire process. He encouraged our questions, listened carefully to our concerns, and always took the time to address them thoughtfully. We ultimately decided on a full reroof, and once the project began, it became clear that there was much more hidden damage beneath the tiles and underlayment than anyone could have anticipated. Built Strong! Priced Right!

Getting a roof redone has to be one of the more unsettling and expensive things to do, but if it has to be done, there's no getting around it or things will get worse if left unattended.

With that in mind, after a few other bids, we decided on Hidden City Roofing. Manny Amador, the owner was always responsive to any questions or concerns I had and in a timely manner.
The crew he had here was outstanding and very efficient. My neighbors even commented about how well they work together.

What I found out about Manny is he has been doing this for over 17 years (learned from his uncle) and still found time to graduate with a BS in computer science from Cal State San Marcos. I mention this because he has four 4 man crews working concurrently and is able to stay on top of all this very efficiently. This also increases the ability to start a new job sooner as it seems roofers are very busy lately.

I consider this to be a great "find" for me and would not hesitate
to recommend him.
