I’m so grateful I went with Kyle Musick as my contractor. I suffered a massive plumbing disaster in my 2 bedroom downtown condo that required a full remodel of the living room and kitchen. While this was a ‘small’ job for Kyle, he still went all out, and was meticulous on every detail of the remodel. I learned a lot being this was my first contractor / remodel experience as a home owner. I was often impatient or frustrated with the pace of the work, only to later realize Kyle often just wanted to get the work done ‘the right way’ with attention to detail, code, efficiency, aesthetics, long term potential / value of the work etc. His attention to detail was impressive and as I look back now at my new home - I’m in love with it! He was also very fair with his pricing and even willing to ‘cut corners’ on his end to help us save money on materials and whatnot. And shout out to some of his crew / sub contractors that were a pleasure to work with - Kole, Lalo, Tim, Miguel - many thanks to you all, I would highly recommend Kyle and Musick construction for your next job.

We recently completed a full-scale remodel with Musick Construction Inc, and the end result exceeded our expectations. This wasn't a cosmetic update--it was a major transformation involving structural changes, heavy demo, and a complete rethink of how our main living spaces function. From day one, Kyle's team was organized, respectful of the house (we were living in the back part of the house during construction), and clearly experienced in managing a project of this size and complexity. Their attention to EVERY detail was very evident and much appreciated.

One of the biggest wins on this project was how they opened up the house. Removing walls, reframing key areas, and relocating the fireplace and chimney to make room for a 28-foot La Cantina door system completely changed the feel of the space. The house is brighter, more open, and flows naturally to the outdoors now. They also integrated a new patio cover into the existing roofline and built a custom fireplace with a floating hearth--details that really elevated the overall design without it feeling overdone.

The kitchen is probably where the transformation is most noticeable day-to-day. The new layout just works--better flow, better function, and a lot more usable space. The custom cabinetry, large island with sink and pop-up outlets, pot filler, and the Dekton Trillium countertops with waterfall edges all came together exactly how we envisioned. What stood out to me was the behind-the-scenes work--plumbing, electrical, lighting--it was all done right, not just made to look good on the surface.

They also delivered on the finishing touches that tied everything together--paint, lighting, electrical upgrades including a larger subpanel, and the outdoor work with the custom (concrete) BBQ island, drainage, and patio concrete.

Bottom line: this was a big, complicated project, and Kyle and his team handled it professionally from start to finish. Communication was solid, the workmanship was high quality, and we'd absolutely use them again or recommend them to anyone taking on a major remodel.

Lastly, a very special mention of not only Kyle (the owner), but Tim, Monty, Mary and Jackie. This team was so friendly and professional that while we are glad to be enjoying the results of all their hard work, there is a part of us that misses having them around everyday!

We highly recommend Musick construction & Restoration. We had a flood in the downstairs of our home. A team came out within a few hours & started the restoration process. Workers were polite & professional. The lead, Miguel, was very nice & explained every step keeping us apprised of the work schedule. They worked efficiently & quickly. They are now doing a remodel of the kitchen & downstairs. The contractor, Kyle Musick, has been amazing! He’s very knowledgeable & has great ideas & suggestions. We would be lost w/o him! We love the work they’ve done. Monte, who did the electrical work, gave us great advice & Tim, the carpenter, did fabulous work on the kitchen cabinets. Kyle has been invaluable to us. Truly we couldn’t be happier with the whole company including Jackie who does the admin.
