Emergency Plumbing Services responded quickly when we had an overflow and a pinhole leak. They also handled a faucet replacement in the same visit. The technician was knowledgeable, efficient, and explained everything clearly. Great communication and service.

Very good at their job
Eduardo from EPS came to my house and was quickly able to find the root cause of my issue. We came up with a plan for a solution and he was able to execute quickly and efficiently, finishing earlier than anticipated. The repairs are flawless and high quality. Great experience we had an emergency and Eduardo arrived at our house within 30 min. He and his assistant fixed our problem. They were both very polite and promptly put booties over their shoes upon entering the house without being asked - nice touch. Courteous, knowledgeable and polite professionals a breath of fresh air. I didn't have a good experience with this company. Quoted me an exorbitant amount to replace a small section of leaking copper under a cabinet ($500+). I had no choice so accepted-- right after they finished the repair another pin hole leak sprang up a foot next to their repair. They told me oh that pipe is bad-- you need to replace the entire pipe up to the attic now...which was quoted at $1500. Had a second opinion come in and replaced the pipe up to the attic for half the EPS quote. Second plumber told me that it should have never been repaired in the first place since it was clearly failing (was the second pin hole leak in that particular pipe) and the pressure should have been tested and lowered. Following all the repairs I reached out to them to see about negotiating a lower price for the initial $500 invoice since they say the work is under warranty yet it clearly didn't fix any problems. They didn't want to work with me so I paid the full invoice and moved on. Bottom line, they were responsive to get on scene quickly, but I received much better consultation and a more reasonable price going with a different company.
Mr. I., I regret that you have not had a good experience with our company. I remember speaking with you on the Saturday when your leak happened and I followed the progress of this repair with our plumber. We were careful to get the right plumber to your rental property the same day to address the issue and hoped to resolve your plumbing problem.
The second opinion you received had the benefit of hindsight but may have misguided your opinion a bit by ignoring an important detail. You had a known ongoing leak that precluded our ability to test your water pressure. Trying to do so would have resulted in water damage and the pressure test would have been inaccurate. Consequently, we gave you a veteran discounted quote for less than $500 (not the "$500+" accusation in your review) for the spot repair. You agreed and we performed the repair as quoted. When the water was turned back on, your plumbing line gave way to a second leak nearby. The 2nd leak was not due to our workmanship or the materials we used for the spot repair and there was no way for us to predict additional leaks prior to that moment. When this occurred, our plumber identified the line was too corroded on the inside of the copper line for further spot repairs and offered to replace the line, all the way back to the water heater. He provided an estimate for this work and was willing to do the repair on that same Saturday but you declined the work.
I'm happy to learn that you were able to resolve the problem for less than our quoted price. However, it is unreasonable to believe that the spot repair was unnecessary, or should be discounted further after the agreed upon work was performed at the predetermined and agreed upon price.
In any case, Annabel tried to explain this to you over the phone but failed to explain it to your satisfaction. As a fellow veteran, I wish you well and hope your plumbing problems are behind you. Our plumber recommended a full house repipe to prevent additional similar leaks in the future.
Great experience; needed emergency response early Saturday after discovering pin hole water leak flowing from water heater supply line, intruding into fire wall. Water was all over garage floor, back wall near our water heater and ultimately inside our house. Fast response, trouble shot and repaired leak in no time.
