⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Six Stars If I Could!

It takes a lot for a company to impress me enough to leave a review, but this company truly stood out. They operate with what I would call an old-school business model—excellent customer service, friendly staff, punctuality, honesty, and very fair pricing. In fact, their pricing was some of the lowest I’ve encountered for this type of service.

I know this firsthand because I work as a Project Manager and Facilities Coordinator, and dealing with contractors and service providers is a regular part of my job. Unfortunately, great customer service isn't always easy to find.

Our business had lost power, and we were desperate to get our services restored. I left a message with the company, and Mark called me back almost immediately. He took the time to walk me through several troubleshooting steps over the phone, trying to identify and potentially resolve the problem without even charging us for his time.

After working through those steps, it became clear that a technician would need to come out and diagnose the issue. Jay, the technician who arrived, was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and approachable. Throughout the entire process, Mark stayed in communication with me and helped coordinate everything, including working with SDG&E, to get us back up and running.

Given the number of calls, questions, troubleshooting, and coordination involved, I honestly expected the bill to be pretty substantial.

Nope.

I received an invoice for what I would consider the bare minimum—and it didn't even include the considerable time Mark spent speaking with me, troubleshooting the issue, and helping coordinate the visit.

That level of honesty, professionalism, and customer service is rare these days.

This is easily one of the most honest, helpful, and customer-focused companies I’ve had the pleasure of working with. If you need their services, I would highly recommend giving them a call.

I’d give them SIX stars if Google would let me! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Absolutely disgusting business. They came to my house two days ago to replace the breaker since it shorted. Just yesterday it blew again. Since the lights went out and we could barely see, I cracked a tooth. Thanks Snyder for the dentist bill and more electric work needed!

Mark Snyder Electric did a very thorough investigation and repair of many compounding electrical issues in my home and solar system and resolved the problems. Mark went above and beyond with his work and did not charge me for a lot of the time he spent. I appreciate him and his team and will not hesitate to use them again in the future if needed.

Mark Snyder Electric was absolutely fantastic for us. Our solar system had been down for over 1.3 years…the ‘other’ company we were using just kept putting bandaid-fixes (that didn’t work). We switched to MSE and instantly we knew what the real problems were, how to fix them, and the cost. Mark’s team went right to work, negotiating with our Inverter manufacturer, and got us back and running in no time. Hands-down thee best solar guys to use!

Great Job by Jay with Mark Snyder Electric installing a 50 Amp service line for a kitchen range conversion from gas to electric.

After two other supposedly 5 star contractors failed, Mark Snyder Electric got the work done for over a thousand dollars less than the nearest competition. One other 5 star electrician quoted $2600 and couldn't do the work for 2 months, the other ghosted me for days and then, when questioned, abruptly declined to bid claiming incorrectly that AC plus an electric range would overload the 100 amp panel.

Mark Snyder Electric solved the problem by adding a subpanel and did a beautiful job with this 41 ft run. I will use them again in the future. $1459.45 is a whole lot less than the other electrician's quote of $2,600.00!

We were recommended to bring our inverter here for repair. It was a 2 1/2 drive each way but so worth it. From the office staff to the technicians as well as Mark himself were so fantastic. We needed to have it bench tested so we left it with them. They were so good about getting back to us on what they had found out on the unit! Once it was determined, parts were ordered and the repair completed. They were so good at explaining how it works and even emailed us a document about how to take care of your batteries and inverter! I highly recommend Mark Snyder Electric.

I used Mark Snyder Electric today for an emergency situation. Mark was extremely helpful, walking me through getting my refrigerator powered on the phone before even coming out to fix the actual problem. He arrived on time and knew all the right things to do. I was very happy with his services and will use him again if I need to.

Watch out! I was overcharged on labor hours and have life security camera footage of the actual amount of time they were here working but they charged me for 3 additional hours. Not an honest company. Beware!

** I have streaming video proof of drivers driving up into driveway and on street, as well as continuous video of ladders, as well as continuous view of them driving away. The day two men were here (one man was here for 15 min)- only one man did the job - he just swapped out solar optimizers.

Mr. Snyder wants me to trust them because they are " Christians". I don't think an active Christian would curse me out over the phone Mr. Snyder - or lie - or cheat - or steal. Where can I send proof without you cursing at me or putting me down?

Reply from the business · Oct 10, 2024

There were two men on the job I interviewed both and I checked the scope of work and it did not correlate the customer also did not back her claims with any proof. I have found that the motion detectors on the cameras fail.
The job was lifting solar modules on the roof which requires two men.
The men also have t sheets tracking . I would be very happy to investigate further if the customer can provide proof showing the man driving up and driving away. She only shows going up and down a ladder which the man explains was getting material.
The man in question has been with me for 25 years and is a very devout
Christian who I trust implicitly. I have been in business for 50 years and I am human and my men are human I checked for any mistakes on the part of my men on time keeping and I found none.
I am waiting for proof if I see proof I will change my opinion.
Those of you that know me know that I have dedicated my career to service to my customers and the greater good.
Look at my Bio.

My first time needing home electrical support, and the team is fantastic. Thank you so much for coming by and helping us with our issue and for the piece of mind you gave us.
