Unfortunately, our experience with this company regarding their warranty has been extremely disappointing.
We originally hired them to perform a roofing repair, and the work was provided with a two-year warranty. Approximately a year and a half later, the roof began leaking again in the area that had been repaired.
We attempted to contact the company multiple times using the phone number we had on file. We also searched for other available contact information and tried additional numbers associated with the business, but we were unable to reach anyone. At the time, it appeared the company was no longer operating.
Because this was an active roof leak and we could not simply leave it unresolved, we had to hire another roofing contractor and pay for the repair out of pocket.
After discovering that the company was operating again, we contacted them and requested reimbursement for the warranty repair. Their response was that they did not receive our calls and therefore would not have had the opportunity to perform the repair.
We explained that multiple attempts were made to reach them. Obviously, there would have been no reason for us to voluntarily pay another roofing company if we could have had the original contractor perform the repair under warranty.
At this point, they have not agreed to reimburse us for the repair.
I’m sharing our experience so prospective customers can take this into consideration when evaluating not only the initial work, but also how warranty issues may be handled if a problem arises later.
