We had several roof tiles that needed to be replaced after some wind damage. A couple of tiles had come off and others were cracked. Fortunately, we have a large supply of our original roof tiles stored on our property, since this particular type of tile is no longer manufactured. Our roof wasn't leaking, but we wanted to have the damaged and missing tiles properly repaired before the rainy season.
Fidel from C39 Roofing was knowledgeable and straightforward from the beginning. We especially appreciated that he didn't try to convince us that our only option was to replace the entire roof, as another roofing company had recommended.
Our roof is very steep, which makes repairs more challenging, but Fidel's crew was able to replace the missing and broken tiles using our original matching tiles. They also went over the roof and resealed and caulked around vents, the chimney, flashing and other areas where sealants can deteriorate over time and potentially allow water intrusion.
What I appreciated most was that Fidel stood behind his work and personally made sure everything we had discussed was completed to our satisfaction. He was responsive, knowledgeable and clearly cared about making sure the job was done right.
We're very pleased that we were able to repair and maintain our existing roof rather than unnecessarily replacing an otherwise functioning roof simply because of its age. We feel much better knowing the damaged areas have been addressed and the roof is ready for the upcoming rainy season. We would definitely recommend Fidel and C39 Roofing to anyone looking for an honest and knowledgeable roofing contractor.
