Rock-It Surfaces Inc.

We were very hopeful in keeping our unusual backsplash & Steve’s team did an excellent job in this. We appreciate his help in choosing quartz countertops & island to coordinate with the backsplash. Our oversized custom sink needed precise measurements & installation. Very professional demo & install by Steve’s knowledgeable & personable team.

The team at Rock-It did a fantastic job with our new counter tops. We ordered a white quartz with light veining and it looks absolutely amazing. We had a couple of tricky issues in our installation and they met each of our needs completely. They use a high tech laser measuring device to template the counters with exactness and the end result is a near perfect fit. I highly recommend using Rock-It.

From start to finish Rock It was fantastic. I am so happy I chose this company for my countertop. The owner Steven was on top of the job every step of the way. His advice was spot on and I love my new island countertop. The installers were neat and professional. You will not be disappointed if you choose Rock It for your countertops.

We needed an island top, picked a piece of granite from their yard, and by the end of the week it was installed, just as we wanted. Could not ask for more.

If you’re considering new countertops, I can’t say enough good things about Rock-It Surfaces in San Marcos. Steven (the owner) and his team delivered a truly outstanding experience from start to finish.
What really impressed me right away was Steven’s process. I started with a simple sketch and a few kitchen photos, and he was able to turn that into a clear, detailed initial quote. From there, he made it incredibly easy to compare different quartz options across manufacturers. He has this great pricing chart that breaks everything down by quartz grade, so you always know exactly what your cost will be. It honestly felt more like buying a piece of furniture—choose your “material level,” and the pricing is transparent. I haven’t seen anyone else do it this way.
When it came time for demo, I was a little nervous because I had existing marble countertops—but Patrick and Alex absolutely nailed it. They removed everything carefully without damaging the cabinets, and their cleanup was spotless. You could tell right away these guys take pride in their work.
After fabrication on their CNC machines, Patrick and Alex returned for installation—and again, top-notch work. Super professional, polite, and detail-oriented. The seams are so well done you really have to look to find them. The caulking is flawless—seriously, it looks machine-perfect.
One other thing I really appreciated: Rock-It uses 3CM quartz, so there’s no need for a plywood base. That gives the edges a much cleaner, more polished look and really elevates the final result.
Overall, this was one of the smoothest, most professional home improvement experiences I’ve had. Exceptional craftsmanship, great communication, and a process that actually makes sense.
I highly recommend Rock-It Surfaces—you won’t be disappointed.

This is the second time we had Rock-It Surfaces install some countertops in our home. Love the way everything turned out. Big thanks to the whole team.
