Frank and Jack, along with the entire team at Steady Builders are just outstanding. They mobilized their team of subs to work with us; sometimes, under very difficult circumstances with the city of Poway, to build our new custom home.
Their attention to every detail, as well as their transparency throughout the construction process made the project easier to manage. They executed with a high degree of professionalism. I would recommend Steady Builders anytime.

We had an excellent experience working with them and couldn’t be happier with the end result. Frank Minicilli and his team were professional, honest, and great to work with from start to finish. They worked with us to stay within our budget without sacrificing quality, kept the project moving on schedule, and maintained clear communication throughout. The crew was friendly, respectful, and took great pride in their work.
The craftsmanship and attention to detail exceeded our expectations, and the finished home turned out exactly as we had hoped. We highly recommend Steady Builders and Frank Minicilli to anyone looking for a trustworthy contractor who delivers quality work and truly cares about their clients.
We added a 500sf ADU over our garage and used Steady Builders as our general contractor. Frank, Janna, Jack, and all of the subcontractors were great to work with. Original estimate for the project was six months, and final inspection passed in a little less than five months. This was largely due to Steady using their own workers for the majority of the work and then doing a great job of scheduling subcontractors to come in and do their work exactly when it was needed. There were some days when 4-5 subs were all on site. Steady also allowed me to save money by doing most of the finish work myself…a real plus if you are a DIY-er! Overall, Steady provided high quality workmanship, knowledge of the necessary building codes and experience working with the various inspectors. The best compliment we receive (and can give) is when our neighbors and friends tell us, “This ADU doesn’t look like an addition…it looks like it was part of the original house!”
Having contracted with Frank and Steady Builders for over two decades on everything from new construction to multiple remodels, I can say with confidence that they are a reliable and reasonably affordable company. They consistently complete projects on time and on budget, and I highly recommend them.

Frank and his team are true professionals. Their 30+ year experience shows through in their ability to manage all the pieces needed to execute a custom home build and stay on budget. We were grateful to hire them to be our construction management team, so we have the ability to offset some costs ourselves. We also found a huge value in the full transparency on all costs of the build. This is what team work looks like and we will surely use them again. Communication was also responsive which is very important to us.
