As you stated, Billy and his son came out to repair a leaking PVC line beneath your driveway. They worked for several hours attempting to remove the water line, from under the driveway. During this time a collapsed corrugated line was discovered—something that was impossible to identify before the work began.

Rather than guessing or taking shortcuts, we stopped work, explained the newly discovered conditions, and provided an estimate for the additional work required to complete the repair. You chose not to move forward with that additional work, which is certainly your right.

However, declining the additional work does not negate the labor, time, and repairs that had already been performed. Our technicians completed the work that was possible under the original scope until the hidden condition was uncovered. Payment is still due for those services.

We stand behind the quality of our work, our communication, and our pricing. Unexpected conditions are an unfortunate reality in underground plumbing, especially beneath driveways, and no contractor can accurately estimate conditions that cannot be seen. When those situations arise, we communicate openly, present the available options, and allow the homeowner to decide how they wish to proceed.

We remain confident that we handled this job professionally and fairly and will continue to stand behind both our work and our business practices.

Professional labor and completed work do not become free simply because unforeseen conditions prevented the project from being completed without additional repairs.
