My Solar wasn’t working. I contacted Kai, the service manager.
He was very patient and was able to walk me through a setting.
Although the inverter needed replacement, Kai was on top of getting a new one sent. I so appreciate his dedication to this company. I am very happy with him and Cosmic Solar

One Company, Done Right

I’ve been burned by contractors before, so I’m hard to impress. Cosmic Solar exceeded our expectations from start to finish.

They replaced our worn-out roof, relocated vents, and prepped everything for solar. The roofing and solar crews worked seamlessly together, with the solar installation beginning while the roof work was still underway.

Having one company handle the roof, solar, and electrical work was a huge advantage. It also means that if there’s ever a problem, I have one company to call, not two contractors pointing fingers at each other.

The electrical work was equally impressive. They installed a full Enphase battery backup system, two new subpanels, and an EV charger, all cleanly and professionally.

Throughout the project, they went out of their way to do things right and involved me whenever there were choices to make. The house looks great, the system works perfectly, and we couldn’t be happier.

Best of all, the final bill came in right at the estimate. No overruns. No surprise charges.

I can’t recommend Cosmic Solar highly enough. They’re worth every penny.

Cosmic Solar was a delight to work with all their employees in the office and in the field did a great job and I would highly recommend them to anybody. They added two Tesla power walls to my existing solar system.
Plus they added a 240 volt EV charging cable to my garage and the poor guy had to crawl around my attic on hot 98 degree day in August.
Job was done on time and budget when promised.

I have had great service from the installers from Cosmic. They answered all my questions and went over and beyond putting up with this crazy old lady. They finished the job sooner than expected. Professional and polite. I would definitely recommend.

Cosmic solar did a fantastic job of advising me on the number of solar panels needed to achieve 130% of our peak power needs for our home at 1261 Belleflower Road in Carlsbad, California. They were flexible with the time frame, waiting patiently while we replaced the roof on our 29-year-old home to begin their work. They helped me get approval to operate our solar power system from San Diego Gas and Electric, including a Tesla Powerwall 3 in our garage. We are now off the grid during some of the warmest days of the year, which saves us money and is an environmentally sensitive way to meet our needs for electricity. Our system is power ready for an Automobile charging station in the garage for any occupants who wish to own an electric of hybrid vehicle. They answered all my many questions about the science of the energy capture in the solar panels, with a novel design to extract the maximum amount of energy from the sun. Their staff was invariably responsive and informative. Working with CosmicSolar was always a pleasant and informative process, and I recommend them without qualification.

Absolutely do not use this company!

I signed a contract with Cosmic Solar & Roofing to install Solar Panels on a ADU we are building. I gave an initial deposit and was told the next step would be to pull permits.

What actually happened next was they came onto my property and installed solar panels on the ADU without ever contacting me, making an appointment, or getting any kind of approval. They never spoke to me once — they just showed up and did the entire installation without my knowledge.

It wasn't until they contacted me demanding full payment that we realized they had installed the Solar Panels. ( again this is on an ADU so I never even knew someone was on the property working)

They have now demanded full payment and have filed a mechanic’s lien against my home even though the system is not operational and the permit has not been signed off.

I made numerous calls and emails to Pey and the owner Bahram Shadzi and did not receive any response.

This behavior is outrageous. I have now filed a complaint with the Contractors State License Board. Stay far away from Cosmic Solar & Roofing.
