Precision Tile Installations

I am a third generation tile craftsman. I have fifteen years in the trade. Ten years of which I have been installing. I take great pride in my work. My attention to detail and customer service are second to none. I recently started a family and decided it was time to venture on my own.

I've been meaning to do this review for a while- sorry Daniel!

I was introduced to Daniel by my contractor in 2021 when I did a complete overhaul of my main bedroom bathroom. The job was a bear and Daniel met it head first, full throttle and it turned out amazing.

He was able to help me with my second bathroom remodel a year later- we were both thankful it was a smaller job.

The work he does is spectacular. Top that off with the fact that he's genuinely one of the nicest, most sincere people you'll ever meet and you won't regret hiring him to help you get an amazing result.

I'm attaching photos from both jobs. The shower room is my main bath. I made him do herringbone on the ceiling, y'all. And it came out perfect.

Lauren5/5

We just moved into our new home and realized our shower was leaking. We had multiple companies come to give estimates, but Daniel really just won us over with his knowledge and personality. We also liked that he was super precise and exact with his previous tile work that he showed us. He had a lot of examples which was nice to see!

He ended up doing mold remediation, added a shower fan, fixed a wall and step issue, fixed some electrical issues we had and basically rebuilt our shower from the ground up. Now everyone that sees our shower says it looks like something that came out of a magazine and we agree!

Something I really liked about Daniel, was that he was really careful with our home. He put tarps up and left everything really clean after. He also was very cautious with our dog not running out the door during the process, which was something we were worried about.

We can't recommend Daniel enough. Great work, great design ideas, fun to talk to and is always willing to get you what you want. He also comes with a plethora of recommendations if you need anything specific done such as glass companies, tile companies to purchase your specific tile and grout, plumbers, etc.

Let his work speak for him. Here's a before and after.

Daniel was a very pleasant surprise. In a day and age, where contractors are unreliable, under bidding, flaky; Daniel was professional in all aspects. Great communication, great work, fair price. I will be using him for more work. Highly recommend.

We recently hired Precision Tile Installations to redo the tile backsplash in our kitchen. Daniel Varela came out and provided us a detailed scope of work including the removal of the old tile, repair of damaged drywall, elimination of an unwanted pot filler over our stovetop, the replacement of the ice maker valve for our refrigerator, and installation of under cabinet LED lights. Additionally, Daniel provided us great suggestions on tile color schemes and tile vendors to check out. The actual tile, drywall, plumbing, and electrical work performed was immaculate. Daniel is extremely detailed and process orientated and takes pride in ownership of his work – all attributes that I very much appreciated and was evident in the final deliverable. He communicates well, is reasonably priced, and I highly recommend Daniel for his tile work and overall craftsmanship.

Daniel and his work are great! He is very thoughtful about his work and how your project will ultimately pan out. We had a nice discussion at the beginning about the different layout options and he revisiting with me throughout to make any necessary tweaks- always giving me several options regarding price and look. Love the communication. His method takes a bit of time but it is a beautiful finish. Also reasonably priced for the quality of work, worth every penny.

Daniel did an excellent job installing my herringbone brick tile! It required a lot of work to level my floor and get this looking exactly as I imagined but he did such a good job and I'm so, so happy with how it turned out.

Don5/5

Daniel, is the best. No surprises, always on time and leaves each day as scheduled. Great craftmanship, pride in work and profession. Daniel gets or highest recommendation.

Rose5/5

Daniel installed tile in the bathroom and the entire shower surround for my parents house. He was meticulous and precise and work was first class . I would definitely use him again.

Daniel came for an estimate to see if he could fix a previous job gone wrong. He said their was not a fix. There is always a fix! I have received a few other estimates so apparently Daniel was just not equipped for the job but wasn’t able to admit that. Further, he came to do the estimate without wearing a mask or even asking if he needed to...
This is not a company worth wasting your time with...
UPDATE! Minutes after posting this review, Daniel returned to my home, unannounced and banging on the door repeatedly. I didn’t answer but heard him asking to grab something he left behind. Lies. Both left behind. I said there was nothing here, he asked to talk. Unbelievably unprofessional. Absolutely unbelievable.

Hi Janine,
As I read this review, you left me, and I would have to say it paints a very ugly picture. The update is ruthless. I can tell life is probably very challenging right now. It has been for a lot of us during these crazy times.
With that being said, you should not treat other human beings the way you treated me and the other people with whom you work on those Zoom calls you took during our appointment.
It was not the work that made the project undoable for me, but more the hostile environment. Between your behavior storming around the rooms, the smell cocktail of pet urine (or marijuana), and overpowering incents burning made me realize why your project was thrown together so carelessly. I left in a hurry because your behavior was making me uncomfortable.
I also had a second job walk with someone nice to talk with (and a pleasure to be around). Once I arrived on location, I realized I had left my Bosch laser measure at your house. I postponed my appointment and headed back to your house and called on the way but was sent straight to voicemail. I wonder why? Oh yeah, you blocked my number.
I rang the doorbell twice and knocked twice. I waited at your front screen door patiently for 5-10 minutes. I was not sure you could hear me between the dogs barking incisively (which they grew tired of after about 7mins) and the radio blasting. I also received an email notification that you had written this review. When I could hear you. I called out to ask for my laser. I also asked if we could talk. You walked up and said,” you didn’t leave anything here,” slammed the front door, and locked your car. It seems like this sort of thing may be a very natural and normal recurring behavior for you.
You are correct. I should have walked up to your door with my mask on instead of it being in my pocket. At no point did you mention a mask or have one on yourself until you realized I would not be submitting a proposal. At that point, you screamed, “Oh, and by the way, it’s completely unprofessional to not wear a mask“ at me. When I was leaving your house was not the time that should have been mentioned. Thanks for the advice. I was wearing one when I came back for my laser and on my next job walk.
Seeing how this family-owned and operated business is the way that I can keep a roof over my wife and three-year-old daughter’s heads and food in their bellies. I would appreciate it if you would remove this silly review so we can go our separate ways.
Best of Luck
