Had flickering lights driving me nuts during this heatwave. Electrician showed up end of day, found a loose neutral wire and sorted it out for one flat rate. Not bad at all, kids quiet while they worked so that helped.

Our main household water heater lost all electrical power late on a Friday evening, threatening a weekend without warm showers.
