Grain Landscape Architecture

Outstanding input about our needs and desires. Perfect advice for some major landscape modifications that had to happen with our very mature and invasive ficus trees. Bret offered up some ideas and options that have turned out to work ideally with what we needed.
Bret's very attentive to needs and quick to respond to phone calls, texts, emails, etc. A real gentleman in a world that needs more like him.

Have some friends in San Diego who had an amazing new landscape installed. I asked them how they came up with their plan and they referred me to Bret at Grain Landscape Architecture. I was looking to get a whole new landscape for the house I had purchased in Laguna that needed a lot of updating. Working with Bret was great from start to finish. He was very responsive through the whole process, had creative ideas for things I had never even considered and listened carefully to my concerns and feedback. His knowledge of plant material was amazing and he had some really unique selections that have such a great aesthetic and worked perfectly for the color plan he helped me create. The end result was a conceptual plan that I am very happy with and that translated into a beautiful new landscape.

Bret with Grain did a fantastic job redesigning my backyard. He really listened to my ideas, asked lots of questions and came up with a plan that suited my budget, lifestyle and aesthetic values. I was pleased with his plant selection and his experience in landscape construction helped with planning the work. Besides being easy to work with, Bret is truly an expert in his field. If you are in need of a designer with a keen eye and great communication skills, call Bret!!
