They are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The work crew did great work on my project. They did a solar repair and addition to my system.

Sol Home was great! They installed solar panels with a battery storage system. Our SDGE bill went from $350-400 to about $40/month during the hottest part of the year with the AC running constantly! They also installed a new roof and heat pump hot water heater with a mixing valve system and it works amazing. The whole thing was made surprising affordable through their lenders and incentive programs. There are no high pressure sales tactics or empty promises. Sol Home is not like those solar sales/broker companies who promise you the world and just sub everything out. This company is a legit, locally-owned contractor who self performs their work. Great customer service, the installers were friendly and professional and project manager communicative and helpful. There is no world in which I would ever recommend any other solar company. 10/10. Thank you very much for the great experience!

SolHome installed a Heat Pump water heater for us. Our old heater was in a tight space and they did a great job of fitting the new heater in. I would also like to thank the back office staff for helping get the Sola Beach rebate submitted in time to get our rebate.

David and his team did an outstanding job on my solar battery install. Very smooth project. Troy, the project manager, kept me informed of every step in the project. I look forward to working with them again in the future for my HVAC update.

I had a great experience working with David and the team at MySolHome. From the beginning, they stood out because they were willing to take on a project that several other companies wouldn’t even touch. That alone got my attention—but they absolutely delivered on it.

The installation quality is excellent. Everything is clean, well thought out, and professionally executed. You can tell they take pride in their work, not just getting the job done, but doing it right.

What I appreciated most is their willingness to engage on the details. This wasn’t a cookie-cutter install—I had an existing Tesla solar system, and they integrated a battery solution into it. That takes both technical skill and a willingness to think things through, and David’s team handled it with confidence.

They’ve also been responsive after the install, which matters just as much as the initial work. It’s clear they stand behind what they do.

If you have a straightforward project, they’ll do it well. If you have something more complex, they’re one of the few teams that will lean in instead of backing away.

Highly recommend.

SolHome Google Review
SolHome performance with the Roof Replacement, HVAC System and House Construction Remodeling was outstanding. There Hands-On Expertise, Supervision and their patience working through the occasional Obstacles that always surfaces during a roof replacement and remodeling was exceptional.

For the Remodeling, SolHome provided a great Draftsman that worked with me on a Great Design Buildout for the Entryway, Kitchen, Living Room, Master Bathroom, and Patio. They processed the Building Plans for the San Marcos Building Permit. During Demo, SolHome brought in a Structural Engineer Architect Consultant to investigate the Vaulted Ceiling Trusses Engineering to determine the Load Bearing Walls Elimination. This was a game changer that allowed us to Open Up the Living Room and Kitchen that lowered the Buildout Cost.

As an Out-of-Town Owner, SolHome’s General Contractor, Troy, was always accessible, provided solutions, updates and photos usually daily through their Buildertrend App. It gave us a first-hand view and explanation of the scope of work being worked on by their Tradesmen. They along with our family members attentiveness towards looking at ways to save money with hardware fixtures and placements, made it more affordable, run smoother and efficiently. We have some experience with remodels and have very close friends in the construction business. Like any renovation, there are unforeseen scheduling timing delays that needs coordination with the delivery dates for doors, windows, kitchen cabinetry, master bathroom, tradesmen... and having a great Contractor like SolHome makes for a great outcome.

We are very thankful and appreciative for SolHome’s combined team work of their Tradesmen and with the outside Sub-Contractors. We were able to Arm Chair Quarterback this without having to make several expensive overnight hotel trips with our elderly 17-year-old dog to oversee the work. We are very happy!

Thank you James for the kind words. Glad the project went well!

Our contractor referred us to David and the team at SolHome to get an outlet installed for EV charging in our multi-unit building.

Seems that this kind of work in existing buildings with underground parking, especially ones 20 years old, is not straightforward.

That said. Not only did David and team get the job done but they were responsive, communicative, extremely diligent and able to progress working closely with building management independently.

Based upon my experience I would recommend that anyone looking for work in their area of expertise should absolutely check them out.

With huge thanks....James.

Thank you so much for the kind words.

Solhome did a great job end to end from quoting of my system, the rebates, finding the best solution, scheduling all the work, and cranking through to the end for me to get a battery backed solar system on my house. The people they sent were capable and very attentive to my house and needs. I would hire them again without any hesitation.

David and crew are exceptional. Dave stays current with the newest technology, a feat in this world of innovation. I appreciate that he's agnostic and suggest the best for my needs rather than whatever brand he's paid by.

SolHome made it so easy to purchase a solar battery to add to my existing solar power system at home. They made an otherwise complex purchase decision easy to understand. They are upfront, reliable, and have done a fantastic job! I am so glad I inquired about adding a solar battery to my existing system as the return on investment (ROI) is amazing! I have been working with Tupac, who has been fantastic. He has kept in touch at every step of the process, promptly answering my questions, explaining the next steps and telling me what to expect. I can't recommend Solhome or Tupac highly enough. If you live in the San Diego area and want to save money on electricity, contacting SolHome is a no-brainer, whether you already have solar panels or are looking to add-on to your existing system.
