Truly Nolen Pest & Termite Control

I don't like the fact that I get an e-mail that someone was going to come and spray the outside. I have no idea whether he came or not. No knock on the door. When I answered the text I said I have ants inside. So no spraying was done inside. So impersonal!!

Stephen, Brian, Chris recently came out to take care of ants, and then Stephen came back for a follow-up. All three were very professional, knowledgeable and efficient. Stephen was especially kind when he realized I was hard of hearing, and he was able to accommodate.

After a relentless termite attack, my husband and I called San Marcos's Truly Nolen Pest & Termite Control. In no time, Luis assessed the situation, and the Dynamic Duo, Chris and John, arrived. They were just what the doctor ordered.

John and Chris were shining stars from the moment I met them. They immediately assessed every affected area and potential problem. In no time, they skillfully fixed all the issues and even carefully cleaned up the termite mess. They were kind, attentive, and talented. They even went so far as to clean the attic cover of dirt and fingerprints that were not theirs. In essence, Chris and John followed the Golden Rule, treating my home as if it were their own. Likewise, they treated me as they would want to be treated if they had termites.

I called yesterday morning, needing same day service for my dad’s house as I’m visiting and found an ant infestation. My dad is a amputee and I needed to be there to show the technician around. I chose Truly Nolen because they were the only ones that promised they could be there that day, even though it was more expensive. After a lengthy process to get set up for a year of service with Curtis, I was told that Brian would arrive between 11 AM and 1 PM. He never showed. When I called around 1:30, the service representative said she couldn’t reach Brian, that he had just finished his last customer and was surely on his way. I was annoyed at the lack of communication, and wanted to know if that’s normal. She said she couldn’t reach her manager either, but he would call me back. I called Curtis again and he said he would call me as soon as he found out what was going on. I never got a call from him. I called back at 2:36 and Curtis said that Brian just wasn’t going to show up. Chris seemed unbothered that they had wasted almost 4 hours of my day and I’d lost my only opportunity to find someone else to handle this infestation and do service while I was in town. They were not willing to discount my service for Monday or do anything to make up for the screwup. The attitude was “Sorry l, but oh well…”
I ended up signing up for service with EcoGuard, where we will save $160, and received had much friendlier service, although I have to pay someone else to be there for me.

Henry Leichner, our technician, always does an outstanding job. Prompt, friendly service and very thorough. Highly recommend to everyone.
