We’ve had an excellent experience working with Greg Wysong, Tony Trinh, and the Western Pavers team on the design of our backyard project.

Our property is unusually challenging, with a large slope, multiple elevations, drainage, retaining walls, access, patios, and future landscaping all needing to work together. Greg’s background as a landscape architect and his technical expertise really show in the level of thought and detail he brings to the project. His CAD drawings are meticulous, and he has an impressive ability to think several steps ahead, understand how one design decision affects everything else, and carefully plan the grading, elevations, drainage, walls, stairs, access, and landscaping as one cohesive design. Just as importantly, he has a great eye for beauty and has found ways to make a very technical project look natural and attractive.

Greg has also been patient and thoughtful as our priorities and budget have evolved, continually refining the design while preserving the elements that matter most to us. Tony’s 3D renderings have been very helpful in allowing us to visualize Greg’s plans and see how the different levels and features will come together.

We’re nearing the end of the design phase and are excited to move forward with Western Pavers. We greatly appreciate the care, expertise, and attention to detail Greg has brought to our project and highly recommend him and the team.

Today’s a good day, we signed the contract and the project is gonna happen! Louis Grajales has been an absolute professional from the first day we met. He listened to our ideas & helped us put them into action. The reason for this is to express what a patient process this has been; Western Pavers was one of 4 bids we received- Louis stayed connected, had us go to showroom in SanMarcos to see the products in person and were glad we did because pictures in a catalog-looked different on display. Louis was respectful, understood us and our process…now that the decision is made, we know it was the right one.

Louis Quinn and the team at Western Outdoor Design & Build went above and beyond what most companies would do. We originally asked them for a quote on a new paver pool deck, but they exceeded our expectations with their work and dedication. We were so impressed that we decided to hire them for a second pool deck as well. Brian Vilte was outstanding. He was an incredible project manager. We had some difficulties with permit issues but the project turned out beautifully.

My wife and I have been extremely impressed with our experience working with Western Outdoor Design/Western Outdoor Pavers in San Marcos. From our very first phone call to schedule an appointment through the design process, every interaction has reflected a level of professionalism, communication, and attention to detail that is becoming increasingly rare.
