Bought a new home and this was the company that was chosen to install the Advantex Septic System for the neighborhood. I'd have to say, dealing with Mark, who I believe is the owner of this company, was unpleasant, to say the least. He's nice to you as long as you are nice to him, but he's not one to look out for your best interests. He could really use a refresher on customer relations.

I could go on for awhile, but I'll do my best to keep it short. He has no respect for your or other people's time, and will just go about business as he pleases. Just a few examples: He showed up late to meetings with my landscaper (who went out of his way to be available at HIS available time), showing up to the home whenever HE was available and expected us to work around his schedule, and not communicating to me about any of the work that was being done on the unit.

The final nail in the coffin: The home builder paid for one year of inspections, and the homeowner pays after that. A year and a half passes and Mark just texts me (the day of) and tells me to open the gate so he can do the inspection. I'm home, thankfully (covid times), so I oblige. He strolls in, does the inspection, I come out and greet him and ask for some information or if things are looking good. He says he'll let me know, and continues to talk on the phone. Inspection complete, and he walks off. A few days later, sends me a bill for the service. I obviously have questions and am not happy about this bill, but after confirming, yes, a signed contract is a contract, and I'll pay for one more service and terminate my contract with him. A heads up would have been nice though. I was in contact with him after all. A few days pass, he sends me an e-mail and phone call, and honestly I don't make it a priority to respond to him. Life just gets busy, but I still intend to pay him. Last phone call was at around 7:20pm at night, having dinner with family, and he leaves me the most condescending, lecturing voicemail all while threatening to put a lien on my home. (No surprise there, he often talks down to me).

I emailed him back and gave him a piece of my mind, and he's lucky I even paid him. A small price to pay to never have to deal with him again. I let him know to never contact me again and I'll be writing this review, so here it is. I guess that wasn't short, but if I can help anyone else avoid this stranglehold, it'd have been worth it.
