Christine, thank you for taking the time to write us a review. We appreciate you for allowing us to earn your business. If you have any questions in the future, don't hesitate to give us a call!
Beware! This company charges more than double what other companies charge for the same service!!!!
Ms. C.,
I am responding to your concerns regarding the emergency service provided by our technician.
We have built our business based on fair and honest service and we take great pride in treating our customers with the highest level of respect.
Any time I receive a response from a customer questioning either the cost of the repair or the work performed, the request is thoroughly investigated and shared openly with the customer and the technician.
You called at 7:30pm on Wednesday March 31st and requested an emergency after hours service. Our customer service answered your call, explained the after hours service call would be $149.00 plus parts. Our technician was dispatched promptly and upon arrival made a thorough evaluation.
Your door required the replacement of two springs along with some additional maintenance to put it back in operating order.
Our technician left your door in a well-balanced and excellent operating condition.
You were billed $149.00 for the service and $290.95 for each of the two replacement springs.
A cheaper price can always be found for just about any type of service, but you work was performed by a professional, using high grade parts, and the work is fully warrantied.
We tried to reach out several times but never got a call back.
We greatly appreciate your business and hope this gives proper transparency to the amount billed.
Updated review: Lance, the owner, is excellent with outreach and follow-up.
Spending over 30 years as a Realtor and/or Property Manager gives me a sound basis for making assessments on the professionalism and or quality of work provided by technical service organizations in the housing and building industry. I have had many opportunities to request service from garage door repair companies. Bedford Overhead Door Company in Vista, CA is a company that I had personal experience with when they recently repaired my extremely heavy all wooden sectional garage door. Lance can out very quickly to make an assessment and provide me with a written estimate. He was very polite, on time and acted very professional. I made an appointment for the next day, he arrived on time and well prepared to complete the job. I am very impressed and satisfied with the work performed and the price paid. I highly recommend this company.
Thank you Tom!
We ordered an unusual commercial roll up door in a blue color that isn’t commonly ordered for a residence. Lance and the rest of the staff at Bedford were awesome from start to finish with our order and we got our door installed quickly and absolutely love it. We were quoted a much higher price from another company as well, so go with Bedford for a reasonable quote! We highly recommend them!
Thank you Jessica!
Found Lance at Bedford through a Facebook recommendation. He responded quickly, was at my home within the hour as promised and repaired my garage door in a timely manner. He tripled checked that the job was completely done before he left. I would definitely recommend Bedford!
Thank you Martin!
We recently purchased a 1958 home and nothing is standard. Lance was able to get the size we need and he installed himself. He and Elijah are extremely kind and did an awesome job. Lance called when said he would and showed up when he said he would. A pleasure to work with!!

Glad we could help! Thank you
Lance and he’s company are super nice, and give you that mom and pop shop feeling!! Honest and fast!
Thank you!
Chris arrived exactly as scheduled, replaced both springs, and performed a maintenance service in less than 30 minutes. He also took the time to explain how the system worked and tips on keeping it running well. Great service!
Thank you Peter!
My garage door was not working at all. I called Bedford at 7 pm expecting to leave a message and Lance picked up. He asked my several questions and walked me through some steps. The garage door is now working and I can close it tonight for security. Excellent customer service and can't say enough about Bedford Overhead Garage Doors! Thank you so very much.
Your very welcome Angela!
