EXCEPTIONAL service by your technician Reggie. He is very professional, competent, and enthusiastic. He worked quickly to address and resolve my issues of concern. He patiently explained what was happening and the best path forward. He also completed the maintenance service, so we are set for another year! Very happy to have the units working properly now, especially since my family is arriving tomorrow for an unexpected visit! I will definitely use Baker for future services, and hopefully all their staff are as efficient, productive, and pleasant as Reggie! Well done! (And he’s great with dogs!)

I’m extremely disappointed with the customer service I’ve received from Baker Home Energy.
A few weeks ago, I contacted them for help with a relatively simple issue: updating the serial number associated with my SolarEdge inverter within the company portal, something that apparently owners cannot do themselves. I left my information with their AI phone answering system and expected someone to follow up and help resolve it.
Instead, the first text message I received was an attempt to schedule an inspection at a cost of $750.
I declined the inspection and explained again that I wasn’t requesting troubleshooting or an on-site service call—I simply needed assistance getting the serial number updated with SolarEdge. On September 25, I was given a case number and told someone would follow up.
It is now October 7, and despite reaching out again, I still have not received a response or resolution.
I understand companies get busy, but leaving a customer without meaningful communication for nearly two weeks is simply unprofessional. What has been especially frustrating is how difficult it seems to be to speak with an actual person who can understand the issue and help.
Why is it so difficult to get a real person on the phone?
I’d be more than happy to update or remove this review if someone at Baker Home Energy would simply do me the courtesy of responding and treating me like a human being rather than another case number in an automated system.
